EGSA Competition Rules

All disciplines are time limited: time to finish the given number of repetitions for Longcycle and Jerk is 8 minutes and for Snatch 10 minutes. If an Athlete does not finish the given number of repetitions in the time cap, he/she will be ranked as DNF (did not finish). Rules are set for both, men and women! Rules for LONGCYCLE:
  1. Goal number of repetitions: 66
  2. Time cap: 8 minutes. If competitor does not finish 66 reps in 8 minutes, he is ranked as DNF (did not finish)
  3. If there are more competitors in the same category, the winner is the one who finishes 65 reps first
Rules for JERK:
  1. Goal number of repetitions: 100
  2. Time cap: 8 minutes. If competitor does not finish 100 reps in 8 minutes, he is ranked as DNF (did not finish)
  3. If there are more competitors in the same category, the winner is the one who finishes 100 reps first
Rules for SNATCH:
  1. Goal number of repetitions: 150
  2. Time cap: 10 minutes. If competitor does not finish 150 reps in 10 minutes, he is ranked as DNF (did not finish)
  3. If there are more competitors in the same category, the winner is the one who finishes 150 reps first
  4. One hand switch is allowed
